now i'm sure there are a few people that have heard of this amazing film trilogy..... i mean i've read all three :179:books and i have to confess (i think i'm obsessed) but hey! i bet i'm not the only one so here i will present to you what i coincedentlly found in an austrian magazine lying on the floor in my bedroom ...... it's about this amazing exhibition in the London Science Museum and it's pretty cool whoever is interested can check it out on this website www.sciencemuseum.org.uk (http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/) and it's really cool cuz it shows u the most incredible technology and the effects used in the movie ....... and
those monstrous and magical film making secrets all revealed in this very exhibition ...... i really wish JRR Tolkien would still be alive right now to see that his amazing works have come to life in the most beutiful
:142: and fascinating way it's just breath taking!!!! d

here are some cool pics from the exhibition

i'll attach the pics later i can't at the momment thanks for your patience

Next Thursday at 9:30 is Part 3 ( The Return Of The King ) on One TV.

It's my first time that I see the movie.

So don't BURN IT FOR ME.

And it's such great, and it's also a very good improvement from part 1 and 3

I've seen some of the special effects on TV.

They can be breath taken.

As in Kingdome Of Heaven.

Oh My God I never even to imagine that ( Man-janeeqs ) can be this powerful (!)

LOTR is a good movie.

Thanks Azhar for sharing this

Take Care Honey

and i din't see Kingdom of Heaven yet so DON'T BURN THAT one for me :268:

:129: thanks for the reply

by the way when u say improvement what do u mean cuz 1 is part 1 of the story 2 is the continuation of 1 and 3....... so on....... and that was the whole point of cutting the story because it's sooooooo long i mean if they put everything that happened in the story the movie would be like 6 HOURS and :179:that's hell!!

now we can speak freely

u know Sam character was the best in LOTR III

he was so loyalty and show us something

if we have a true friend, we can do anything ( except union the world :P)

Sam's words are really exciting and inspirer.

Sam:
"i can't carry it 4 u but i can carry u"

i like this line

he's so determination that's why i like him :)

Gundalf soooo wise :)

Gondor ruller soooo stupid

Aragorn, Gemli and Legolas when they came out from the ship and the spirts

behinde them is the best scene :)

Bibin sooooo annoying

Ayon sooo brave

and last Merry sooo lucky :)

sam makes a perfect company for frodo and a great friend i agree especially cuz he has agreat burden to carry

the fellowship which was broken from book one was a great company ..... each one has a uniquie characteristic ...... legolas for instance .... calm, quick, intelligent and can see things and go beyond what the naked eye could usually see..... yea each charachter has this thing or task that makes the movie so colorfull and exciting and lovable to so many

i have a question...... if Tolkien was still alive what would we hope to see from him?

i'm glad it interested u :256:

it's a great story u should take some time to read it....... or if ur not really into the books check out the movies ...... 3 hours each :183: hehe

the books are a little complicated ..... the writer seems to describe almost everything in a very detailic way

most of the time i have a difficult time understanding the places and the scenes he is describing it's so detailic and a little complex

but the story is great ...... yes Tolkien used a lot of his imajinations ..... i admire his creativity and the way he uses his imajinations

thanks (one and only ):256: for ur reviews

Hi I don't remember names

But this's my fave character

http://www.dorarr.ws/forum/uploaded/lotr_1.jpg

And with this one, I can say the best couples.

http://www.dorarr.ws/forum/uploaded/lort_2.jpg

I liked when she grabbed him,she understood his need of fighting, knowing that he's just like her.

I also like when she killed that thing, ( told ya I don't remember names.lol )
Telling the beast simply " I'm no man "

Such a simple unique answer.lol

And here's my most powerful part of the movie. ( on Part 1 )

WIDTH=200 HEIGHT=200

Those words captured me a lot. ( hopefully our vice president :221: BacShadow will listen to it carefully ).lol

Aha yes also Gandalf is one of my fave characters.his reactions can be funny sometimes.lol

I felt sorry for Sam.

And enjoyed Orlando Bloom's rivalry with the short guy, and how they count, funny when the other counted the elephant and those above it as ( one ).loool

I know I would.looool

And bout improvement.

I mean in the special effects thing.( year after year it gets improved)

I know they r 3 different parts.

But from one to three u can see exactly how digital shots were excellent, and more smooth.

They return to add some scenes.

I donno, maybe coz part 1 I saw it as VCD, and the others were on TV,and i have DVD of them.

Kingdom of heaven is good in effects, I still don't believe how I never thought that ( Manjaneeqs ) can be this powerful.

It doesn't have a story that can be burn, coz we already know it, from the series Salahudin starting Jamal Suliman, and aired i Ramadan 2 or 3 years ago.

Azhar.

Thanks.

i have a question...... if Tolkien was still alive what would we hope to see from him?

Well, something in the same category (!)

But mmm, though it's harsh to say it, but something like that would be a national treasure, coz u know there'll be nothing like it.
In the other hand if he's still alive, then expect something like Harry Potter, which I have no interested what's so ever in seeing it.

azhar_md

my dear friend (petals) :256: that is Eowyn daughter of King Theoden of the kingdom of Rohan

and the other character Meridoc Took a mischeif maker i may say but also a very brave character and played one of the biggest parts in the story

they may not be couples but they make the best team ..... disguising themselves and going to battle after they were specifically told to stay behind

that says alot......... that they have courage and the love for adventures

two ppl who knew they were putting their lives at risk but the nontheless ran after what they were looking for
to be close to their loved ones
and i admire that

i'm sorry but i couldn't quite tell what part is that in the movie ...... frodo and gandalf speaking together...... is that in the mines of Moria????

yes i agree Frodo always has very deep and beautiful words that catches the heart and makes u wanna cry ur eyes out
he's always wishing that he wouldn't be carrying this heavy burden but holds this heavy feeling inside him amnd never lets it out
that's what i love about him

as for the graphics and computer works in each movie yes it does improve from one film to another because believe it or not technology improves by the year and that what makes the movies so realistic and magical at the same time

thanks for the pics and video clip
http://www.lord-of-the-rings.org/tolkien/jrrt.jpg
if Tolkien was still alive ..... i think he would retire and rest knowing that he's done a beautiful work

he made more books other than the Lord of the Rings
such as :
The Hobbit
The Silmarillion (http://www.houghtonmifflinbooks.com/features/lordoftheringstrilogy/silmarillion.shtml)
The Road to Middle Earth
