A hapless little sigh
Escaped a soul
To go straight
And tell off her tale
But the winds and the clouds
Clogged her way
She stood at some dunes
Of some of the lakes
And told them the secrets
Of marvels
Of wonders
Of mazes she went through
Of a glee she’s faking
Of a loathing that killed
Of a trial worth taking
She spilled all her braveries
Her weak points,
her scandals
She drew her pain
On the sandy shores
And left them for the waves
To wash off their woes
And came back to her mother
Not a moan anymore
But a whisper that told her
How much she has bore
That whisper advised her
To stop her anguish
To be brave and brawny
To face her despair
To stand up for what’s right
To overlook her distress
To lift up her head
To never be fed
And pray with all her heart
For the brave souls which left her
For the remains she carries
For the bloods which she soaked
And know she’s not friendless
For many a-soul are with her
Who pray in the night
And screech in the day
Who hold their Qur’aan
To plead for her sake
And for the sake of those
Who have been slaughtered
For being heroic
To those who are pure
Who are courageous and strong
Who hold each other
For a promise they’ve sworn
A prayer worth making
For your fearless souls
And a moment of silence
For all mothers in woe
