First love is not like any love as it draws you into FIRST feelings you experience for the first time in your life. First love can never be forgoten as it is pasted deep inside

To those "first time" lovers, I dedicate this poem

I never was struck before that hour
With love so sudden and so sweet
Her face it bloomed like a sweet flower
And stole my heart away complete

My face turned pale, a deadly pale
My legs refused to walk away
And when she looked what could I ail
My life and all seemed turned to clay

And then my blood rushed to my face
And took my eyesight quite away
The trees and bushes round the place
Seemed midnight at noonday

I could not see a single thing
Words from my eyes did start
They spoke as chords do from the string
And blood burnt round my heart

Are flowers the winter's choice
Is love's bed always snow
She seemed to hear my silent voice
Not love appeals to know

I never saw so sweet a face
As that I stood before
My heart has left its dwelling place
And can return no more

but some times this love is not our most powerful love

sometimes we found another love in our life sweeter and stronger than the first one

Of course, not all first love feelings are similar in nature. It depends on how it prelongs after it happens. It does become permenent when both really live love and share its joy

First love is as good as you both make an effort to make it everlasting feelings

First love is only as strong as the beautiful memories you both share to have

Second or third love are relatively incomparable to the first love unless your first love was only temporarily successful


By the way, this poem is not by any means a khunfitiari. It's a real poem that won a prize in a poem contest. But hey, whatever you say habeebi
