Evanescence Is one of the few groups that you can go through their music, not just one wonder hit.

They do have many songs that I like, and sometimes they Bring me to life (!)

This's one of the most fave song of mine, it called "Hello", and it's so beautiful as far as the lyrics and the music.

Heeyyy Petals!!

I really don’t like this kind of music, I mean this gothic metal kind of rock, they play with a guitar as if it was a bass, and this is not what guitars were made for.

However, and as you said, Evanescence is different; you can listen to their music and still enjoy it. And I owe it all to Amy Lee, their lead vocals. She has a nice voice that - in a way- covers the unpleasant sound of their guitars.

I like the songs: “bring me to life”, “going under”, “whisper”, and “my last breath”.

“Hello” is nothing like Evanescence!! I don’t even consider it a rock song in any way, but it really shows how wonderful Amy’s voice is.

I remember a good Radio Hostess Judy Massa said once that rockers find success when they sing slow, and tone down their music, giving Brain Adams as an example.

I also agree with you on Amy Lee, the lyrics of Hello captured my ears, so listening to it comes with more attention, as for others you can leave them playing,and I can add My Immortal" (non rock version) to my list, as will as a song called "Wash it all away" skipping the last 2 minutes.(!)

When strangely I like " Bring Me To Life" specially the last part one the co-singer shouts " I'm living in a lie, there's nothing inside" <-- hope I listen right.lol
"Eternal" ( Mobily ring tune ) the Piano part is fine,and the Thunder part is scary (!).

I'm not much into rock, just selective songs, and now you can't tell a pop song from a rock one (!)

Lately I found a Gregorian group sings songs for likes Metalica, you must know their good hits " Nothing Ells Matters" and " The Unforgiving 2" and R.E.M's " Losing My Religion" <-- love this song.

For me .. I Like the music how ever it comes, wherever it goes .. ONLY if it was mixed proficiently and was FINALLY produced in a GOOD way

Will, there're music w/animals voices, I've heard it b4, they kinda funny,but u can't call it music that u'd hear.

Once I was listening to a Radio show on the BBC, and this guy was showing some audience choices of the worst music ever, one of them was By YOKO ONO, John Lennon's wife.

Believe me it's worst than Chicken voices.lol


I think the song from their Fallen Album, not sure though
